杨延文生于1939年，河北深县人。1963年毕业于北京艺术学院。 　　现为北京画院艺委会主任、有突出贡献专家（享受XXX特殊津贴）、中国美协中国画艺委会委员、北京市艺术系列高级职称评委会副主任、中国美协理事、全国政协委员。 　　Yang Yanwen (Born 1939) Born in Beijing in 1939, Yang Yanwen is a na tive of Hebei Province. After his graduation from the Wu Guanzhong Oil Paint ing Studio of the Beijing Acad e my of Art in 1963, Yang devoted himself to art education. Yang is good at Chinese landscape painting, oil painting and even mural art. He be came a pro fes sion al paint er of the Beijing Chinese Paint ing Academy in 1978. He received Merit prize in Fine Arts in Beijing District in 1979 and 1981. He further awarded Gold Medal in Ita ly's "5th Manhattan In ter na tion al Fine Art Exhibition" in 1983. Besides, he participated in various art exhibitions including "6th National Fine Arts Exhibition", "Sino-Japan Joint Exhibition", and the "The World Art Exposition" in India in 1986. In 2006, He held a solo exhibition in National Art Gallary of China. There are various publications on his biography and paintings. He is currently Executive Member of the Chinese Artists' Association, Director of Fine Arts department of Beijing Chinese Painting Academy and Member of the National Commissar.
